Peter Nichols
Tax Director

Peter is a serial entrepreneur who has clocked up 56 years of tax experience with HMRC, KPMG and Rawlinson & Hunter before forming his own tax and accounts practice in 1997.

Peter has a broad knowledge of the tax system and specialises in tax efficient private business structures and helping start-up companies gain investment under the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme & Enterprise Investment scheme.

He also has in depth knowledge of the independent film sector and was previously Chairman of a film finance company that supported the Oscar winning The King’s Speech

Outside work Peter has a busy family life and enjoys shooting and rugby in equal measure.

Colin French
Tax Director

Colin joined Peter’s practice in 1997. He was a tax partner at Valhalla PCS LLP when it was formed in 2014 before becoming a founding director of BFN. Colin heads up the tax team providing services such as personal, trust and business tax returns.

Ashley Baldock
Accounts Director

Ashley has over 15 years' experience in the accounting industry working with SME's and individuals to help grow their businesses through business strategies and systems implementations. He heads up our accounts team providing compliance services and business reviews to identify software to help streamline your business.
